I am Cathie Parezo Ogdie. I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, met and married Sam Ogdie Jr., moved away for a few years, and returned to Sioux Falls in 1977. I’ve had a few careers in my life. I worked in healthcare for over 23 years. I am the mother of two terrific young adults, Alexis and Joe. In 2000, I was given the opportunity to try another field and I chose real estate. I have been selling real estate for the past eleven years. Real estate has allowed me to combine my talents and experience. I enjoy educating and guiding people through the process of buying or selling their home. The value added service I provide is aimed at meeting each client’s unique needs and wishes. I’m in real estate because I love to work with people. I have been a teacher most of my life and I think that a REALTOR® is really a teacher who guides a client through the process of buying a home. A good realtor, like a teacher, needs to be honest, reliable and wise in his work in order to gain the respect of his clients. I teach and speak Spanish and I have sold many homes to Hispanic clients in Sioux Falls. My wife of 38 years, Cathie, is also a REALTOR® with Ogdie Realty. We have our son – Joe, our daughter -Alexis, and added our son-in-law Gregory Beatty in 2009.
